Surfer's Paradise

We sold our bikinis retail at our outdoor stall but we also wholesaled them to surf shops all around Surfer's Paradise. I drove around to the different shops in the morning to make the deliveries. I had a lot of fun doing it. Most of the shops were owned and operated by world famous surfers. Two of them lived right on the same block as we did. They had both won the Coca Cola surf championship which was the world's top international tournament of the day. We partied with them a lot. They attracted lots of hot girls to the parties. We also surfed together sometimes or just hung out at the beach. Rabbit Bartholomew the best surfer as far as the number of tournaments he had won had a little sister that was a big customer of ours. She later won the Coca Cola women's title for surfing too.

There was a dinner club down the street from our house that had dinner with drag queen shows. We went there often because it was so close and they made good food. We always stayed for the shows while we drank after eating. We got to know the show pretty well after watching the same jokes over and over. We invited the drag queens over to our house for some of our parties. When they first showed up at one of our parties they kind of intimidated the other guests we had because they were so forward and kinky. They quickly ended up becoming the life of the parties though with their constant jokes and quirky sense of humor. One of them showed up one night wearing only spike heels and a fur coat. She kept flashing her body at all the straight surfer boys at the party. She had a killer feminine body with a nice ass and perfect tits and face but she also had a 8 incher hanging between her legs. She looked like Sofia Loren. I think she took quite a few of the straight surfers with her when she went home at night but none of them ever mentioned her the next day for some reason.

There was a huge Cyclone that hit the city of Darwin while we were there. The cyclone hit on Christmas eve and blew all of Christmas day. It leveled the city leaving only a few buildings standing. Look up the Wiki article:

There were regular large storms that hit the coast every winter. The surfers would go out and surf the gigantic waves the storms generated. A few people died doing this and the government banned surfing during the big storms. It was a ban that was impossible to enforce. The daring surfers just had to go out. We went down to watch along with all the other people when the conditions were making these big waves. I remember one day when the waves looked around 25 to 30 feet high and there was a storm surge that raised the level of the ocean so that the huge breakers were breaking over the road that ran along the beach. Keith and Rabbit were both out there surfing and we were trying to watch them. Rabbit rode one all the way in and landed on the road where the police tried to arrest him but the crowd of onlookers was not going to let that happen. They had to let him go or there would have been a riot.

When the weather was more normal the surfing was perfect. You could walk out to the end of the point get in the water and surf down the side of the point to the beach and then walk back out the point again. It was much easier than most surfing locations where you had to paddle back out each time. The waves got a bit crowded sometimes but there was really very little fighting because the ride was just so good that everybody was in a good mood most of the time. I just wish I had more time to play instead of the way I worked so much at my bikini business. I usually ended up making a few hundred dollars in sales every time I went down to the beach.

We had bikini parties at our house as one of our sales methods. We offered a free bikini to anybody that got a group together to come and buy bikinis from us. The parties were usually between twenty to thirty girls and we offered beer and wine to drink while they tried on bikinis and helped each other pick out designs that looked good on them. I wrote up all the orders and did all the custom fitting of the girls. I spent long hours working with hot young girls trying on bikinis in front of me. It was fun at first working with all the naked ladies but after a while I came to dislike it. My other male friends thought that I had the ideal job but I was getting tired of selling the bikinis. It was getting boring and instead of seeing hot girls I now just saw them as bikini manikins. I did not like that. I liked seeing hot girls. It was time for a change. After a long time working hard all day every day and playing hard at night I started to get the itch to travel some more. I sold the bikini business and we packed up to head out again.
